That’s what it all comes down to… for me anyway. Thousands dead, and for what? Lives lost in vain? Certainly. Why is there no penalty for lying to the American people? To the world? Why is there no penalty for getting America involved in another dead-end trap? Did we learn nothing from Vietnam?
Add to this the tax breaks for the rich, the mounting deficits which obligate future generations and which ultimately deeply hurt the US.
Despite all this, the American people are ready to return this man to the presidency? To say that they want four more years of this?
I don’t live in the US, am perhaps by living elsewhere I am unable to understand what is happening in the US. In this I am not alone. I have yet to meet a person here who isn’t deeply confused by the American people’s desire to have four more years of this man.
